Cellbox™ Go Ground

The Cellbox™ Go Ground is a compact, portable CO2 incubator for transporting live cells over short and medium distances. Temperature and CO2 are actively controlled, so your cells keep the same conditions on the move as in the lab incubator. Weighing only around 9 kg including its carry bag, the Go Ground is easy to take from lab to lab, between buildings or to a partner institution.

Stable conditions, better results

Transport at room temperature without CO2 can seriously affect sensitive cell material, from reduced cell counts and viability to altered protein expression or unwanted differentiation. The Go Ground prevents this by keeping temperature and CO2 stable throughout the journey, safeguarding the quality of your cells and assays even outside the lab.

Key benefits

• Light and compact: approx. 9 kg including the Go Carry Bag, easy to carry with one hand.
• Active control: temperature adjustable between 18 and 40 °C and CO2 between 0 and 18%. The achievable range depends on the ambient temperature and the use of a cool pack.
• Long CO2 runtime: a disposable CO2 cartridge supplies up to 72 hours of CO2 at a set concentration of 5%.
• Swappable battery: the battery lasts more than 12 hours and can be exchanged by the user to extend the runtime easily.
• Preconditioning: a dedicated inlet lets you bring the incubation chamber to the required gas composition in advance using an external gas mixture.
• USB-C charging: with reverse charging, the Go Ground can also power other devices.
• DC outlet in the chamber: for connecting third-party devices inside the incubation chamber.

Everything recorded, always up to date

The Go Ground records all relevant data during transport and connects via Wi-Fi. Software updates are installed automatically. Logged parameters include:

• incubation and device temperature;
• CO2 and O2 concentration;
• ambient pressure and CO2 partial pressure;
• acceleration and tilt;
• lid openings;
• remaining CO2 capacity and battery level.

Optional: Culture Vessel Adaptor

With the optional Culture Vessel Adaptor, you can set up the Go Ground for culture flasks, well plates and other formats from various manufacturers. Adjustable arms hold each vessel in a stable, reproducible position. The included foam layers allow multi-level setups.
