Cellbox™ Shipper Flight

The Cellbox™ Shipper Flight is a portable CO2 incubator that lets you transport live cells under controlled incubation conditions: by road, rail, sea and air. It meets IATA requirements for air freight and runs fully independently. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack keeps the temperature stable, while sublimating dry ice supplies the CO2.

Ship cells without cryopreservation

Freezing is not suitable for every application. Some cell types tolerate it poorly or recover insufficiently after thawing. With the Shipper Flight, cells stay under the same conditions they have in the lab throughout transport, typically 37 °C and 5% CO2. This helps prevent loss of viability and unwanted differentiation, so your assays arrive ready to use.

At these standard settings, the CO2 atmosphere is maintained for more than 32 hours. With a specialised logistics partner, transit times of 48 hours or more are achievable, putting almost any destination worldwide within reach.

• User-programmable: set the temperature between 28 and 38 °C and CO2 between 0 and 18% via the touchscreen.
• Flexible power supply: charge from mains power (100–240 V) or on the move with the car adapter.

Full visibility of your shipment

The Shipper Flight records the conditions inside the incubator every minute. The Cellbox App lets you read out and export the data with ease. Built-in sensors also record:

• lid openings;
• tilt, vibration and acceleration;
• ambient pressure and ambient temperature.

This shows you straight away whether anything went wrong in transit. The incubator is optionally available with a GPRS tracker for real-time location tracking and with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance (at a surcharge).
